Training modules on quality management
|
| Introductory and advanced modules on Quality Management, covering both theoretical and practical issues. A la carte courses are designed specifically to meet NGO requirements. |
Groupe URD provides courses on quality management which are specifically aimed at humanitarian actors: introductory or advanced modules, theoretical and practical content, and courses tailored to the needs of NGOs.
The quality of humanitarian action is the result of a subtle mix of the following factors:
Commitment and integrity of the men and women working together on a project
Technical expertise of people from different professions working at headquarters (managers, logisticians, desk managers, etc.), and in the field (managerial/logistical, healthcare, nutrition, water, housing, food security, etc.)
Experience and expertise in quality management
The purpose of the COMPAS training modules is to ensure that participants acquire the skills required for quality management. In time, Groupe URD plans to offer a complete training course (introduction to quality assurance, project management, project evaluation, cross?disciplinary modules, etc.), and a training module for trainers, in order to give humanitarian actors a good sense of the issues involved in the whole process.
